NEW FORM AT THE FARM: ANISH KAPOOR'S DISMEMBERMENT SITE I

COORDINATING PRODUCER ALBERTA CHU (2010) 

When international art sensation Anish Kapoor is approached by New Zealand art patron Alan Gibbs to create a site-specific work for Gibbs Farm, he endeavors to conceive his greatest work yet. The result is an enormous 75-meter long sculpture spanning a hill. The installation of the work requires the engineering of a major bridge. Running time: 30 minutes. The film's World Premiere took place at the RISD Museum of Art in Providence, Rhode Island on Thursday, January 17th, 2013 along with "Seeing the Landscape: Richard Serra's Tuhurangi Contour" (2003). The film also screened at the Peabody Essex Museum on February 2nd, 2013.
